The Perry & Ruby Stevens Charitable Foundation
Grant Criteria
The Perry and Ruby Stevens Foundation was established by Ruby Stevens January 2006 in accordance with her husband, Perry Stevens’ wishes. The purpose of establishing the Foundation was to provide assistance to qualified non-profit organizations that direct their activities toward the care and treatment of mentally or physically handicapped persons; abused or neglected women; organizations that provide assistance to victims of natural disasters; children and young adults who are financially disadvantaged or who have suffered physical or mental abuse or neglect; the elderly who are unable to provide financial support for themselves; or individuals afflicted with disease or illness, regardless of age or gender. In addition, the Foundation will provide assistance to qualified organizations which direct their activities toward the promotion, development and support of volunteer firefighting programs; the protection and general welfare and prevention of cruelty to animals; and the prevention, research and treatment of Parkinson’s Disease.
Although there are no geographic limitations to this Foundation, the Trustees will look favorably on qualified grant requests originating in the Texas Hill Country.
The Foundation accepts pre-proposal letters of inquiry in the format outlined on the following page. The Foundation may seek additional information concerning any request which is made.
